Shiva Enterprises (SGB) started service in export of Indian handicraft in 2003. It is located in Varanasi, the cultural capital of India. 
Varanasi abounds in the art of silk weaving, an exotic work of art which manifests itself in precious Banarasi Silk Sarees, Silk brocades, Carpets and floor coverings, Glass beads, Smoking accessories and all Indian handicrafts which are cherished as collector’s items across the world today.
It is also known as Benaras, (or Kashi) is one of the oldest living cities in the world, situated at the bank of holy river Ganges. "Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together", by Mark Twain, the English author and literature.

Shiv Glass Beads (SGB) is running with a purpose to organize artisans at grassroots level and build up their capacity so that they may have decent earnings and lead a dignified life. SGB came into existence in the year 2010 and in last two years it has established itself as one of the popular volunteer in India.

        We, took the initiative for achieving some of the milestones includes providing sustainable livelihoods to thousands of artisans, improvement in payment terms, eradication of child labor from handicraft industry, organizing artisans in SHG (Self Help Group) and producer companies for financial security, promotion of artisan forum etc. SGB has evolved a model of poverty reduction and in the next 5 years time, we plan to reach out to 10,000 artisans along with their families.
